Royal Flush – This is when a player holds a series of cards, all of the same suit ranking Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten. This is the toughest poker hand to get. |
A Royal Flush is in principle the highest possible straight flush but was named Royal Flush due to the fact it is the best possible hand in poker. In the early days of online poker players who were dealt a genuine Royal Flush poker hand got rewarded with a cash prize but this early reward is no longer available in most poker rooms because poker today is reckoned a skill game and being dealt a online poker Royal Flush is deemed to be luck and not in the spirit of the skill thoughts. A Royal Flush can only be made in 4 ways as it consists of AKQJT of the same suit.
However Classic Poker reward players who are dealt a Royal Flush in the first 5 cards in Texas Poker No Limit or Fixed Limit a cool €300 regardless of the stakes players play at and all players have to do is to send in the hand number to support@classicpoker.com within 24 hours after the hand has been dealt to them Royal Flushes which are completed on the turn or river does not qualify for this promotion. To qualify for this great extra money poker promotion in case players get lucky the following terms and conditions apply without exception.
- Only Texas Hold Em No Limit, Fixed Limit or Pot Limit games are qualifying games.
- Three players have to be dealt into the Royal Flush bonus hand.
- Rake has to be taken from the pot.
- A valid hand number has to be provided support within 24 hours from being dealt a genuine poker Royal Flush hand.
- The Royal Flush only qualifies when it is dealt directly to players on the flop and no Royal Flushes which are completed on the turn or river are qualifying hands.

Royal Flushes can be even worth much more money when playing on Classic Poker as the hand qualifies as one of the hands needed to take down the bad beat poker jackpot that often reaches €600,000. In this example a Royal Flush beating quad sixes or higher is worth an amazing €105,000. The bad beat jackpot can only be won on Classic Pokers special bad beat tables which are easily found in the cash game lobby and the jackpot prize can be seen on the tables and in the poker lobby in the upper left corner. To calculate how much a Royal Flush beating quads sixes or higher is worth players take the bad beat jackpot amount and multiply by 0.175. €600,000 times 0.175 equals the aforementioned €105,000 bad beat jackpot payout. If the bad beat jackpot stands at €300,000 then the amount won would be €300,000 times 0.175 equals €52,500 and so forth on.
A proper poker strategy when flopping a Royal Flush is to bet the flop to make sure to build the pot in case the opponent(s) also caught a piece of the flop or maybe even flopped a straight or a flush in which case the Royal flush holder are favorite to get all the money in the pot. If called on the flop then it is important not to scare opponents of on the turn and a minimal bet consisting of around 25-35% of the pot value is a proper strategy not to make it to expensive. If the fourth suit did not hit the turn and your opponent in fact did flop a flush then the money definitely will get in the pot on the turn by making this play. On the river it can be very profitable to make a full size pot bet when holding a Royal Flush as it might make your opponent believe you bluff the single ace and are trying to buy the pot by making a huge bet.
