PokerStars Full Tilt Poker and FBI

By now I’m sure you’ve heard the news that will no doubt shake the poker industry for years to come. Yesterday FBI made a move against PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, Absolute Poker and UB Poker, shutting down their websites.

Those who may be interested to read the full indictment can do it here

Unpleasant events in the poker world, always put our sport in a bad light and cost us all in some respect, but simultaneously it also provides the European gaming sites the ability to show that we are actually doing things in accordance with existing law.

I personally want to assure you that Classic Poker and our software company Boss Media has always followed all International laws, including the UIGEA and we will continue to do so in the future.

Boss Media also deliver their software product to the Swedish gambling monopoly and the newly formed intra poker network in Canada. Contracts like that are only given to companies with a fantastic track record.

Our cashier ECASH has for more than a decade delivered fast and reliable payments to players. Searching for ECASH cash out problems is one of the most simple ways I can explain why Classic Poker has chosen ECASH as our cashier and why I have never had any reasons to even think twice about this decision..

In my capacity as CEO and owner of this company, it is my duty to ensure that Classic Poker players feel they play in a safe and secure environment. Those of you who have been in personal contact with me over the years will know that excellent player support and knowledge about the poker industry is the foundation for Classic Poker.

I trust and hope that all of you in the time to come, still will feel confident that online poker can be played without poker players having to fear for legal actions taken against sites due to breach of legislation.

At least I can put my own word behind the fact that Boss Media and Classic poker is such place, regulated by LGA in Malta.

Feel free to write me in person at [email protected] should you have any questions or concerns about your account at Classic Poker.

Regards,

Henrik Witt
CEO Classic Poker
