Bad Beat Jackpot

Classic Poker's Bad Beat Jackpot is always funded with a minimum of $2,500 and increases by $150 per day at 12:00pm EST. Unlike other sites the jackpot is completely paid for by Classic Poker and no additional rake is taken in order to fund the Bad Beat Jackpot.

In order to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot, a hand of 4 jacks or better must be beaten by a better hand using both hole cards in Hold’em games.

If a Bad Beat Jackpot is hit, players will be credited immediately to their account

The Bad Beat Jackpot pool paid out varies depending on the table stakes played:

For 1/2 Tables
25% of the total Bad Beat Jackpot will be awarded.
For 2/4 Tables
50% of the total Bad Beat Jackpot will be awarded.
For 3/6 Tables
75% of the total Bad Beat Jackpot will be awarded.
Higher than 5/10 Tables
100% of the total Bad Beat Jackpot will be awarded.

The Bad Beat Jackpot pool based on the table stakes will be paid out as follows:

  • 50% of the amount will go to the loser of the hand (the bad beat)
  • 25% to the winner and
  • 25% will be split between the other seated players who participated in the hand
    (any player who was sitting out will not receive a portion of the Bad Beat Jackpot).

    Qualifying Hands:

    1. Only real money games qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.
    2. Tournament hands and other types of games do not qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.
    3. There must be a minimum of 3 players dealt cards for the game to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.
    4. 4 Jacks or better must be beaten.
    5. Both hole cards must be utilized in the winning and losing hands.
    6. Both the winning and losing hands must engage in a showdown.
    7. 3 Aces on the board does not qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.
    8. In the event that two qualifying jackpot hands are hit at exactly the same time, the hand that started first (based on our system clock) will be awarded the jackpot.
    9. Players sitting out do not qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.
    10. Players must play their hands independently and cannot tell opponents how to act or reveal their hand to other players. Violations will disqualify the hand from the jackpot.
